Puerto Rico to get $1.4 billion in its first P3 toll road deal

SAN JUAN, PR – Governor Luis G. Fortuño said that Puerto Rico will receive $1.436 billion in private infrastructure investment—the largest such investment in any U.S. jurisdiction so far this year—as a result of the Public Private Partnership (P3) announced today to immediately upgrade and bring up to world-class standards PR-22 and PR-5, two of the Island’s major toll roads.
